Due to the natural nature of rubber, the physical properties and performance levels of all rubber products vary. Such changes typically occur over time depending on the type of high pressure hose used. But changes may also be accelerated due to several factors or a combination of factors. Other materials used to reinforce high-pressure hoses can also be negatively affected by inappropriate storage conditions. The following editors give you some suggestions for storing high-pressure hoses, hoping to help you:
Sandblasting high-pressure hoses can prevent objects from aging in storage to the greatest extent. During storage and transportation, fire sources should be isolated, sharp objects and highly corrosive chemicals should be avoided, and long-term storage in sunlight should be avoided. Among them, the automobile high-pressure hose mainly connects the engine and the air filter. As a component of the intake system, it is close to the engine, so it needs high temperature resistance, oil resistance, high corrosion resistance, aging resistance, low temperature resistance, etc.
High-pressure hose
A rotation planning system should be used to minimize the storage time of high pressure hoses. If prolonged storage cannot be avoided and the following recommendations cannot be followed, the high-pressure hose should be thoroughly inspected before use. The storage of high pressure hoses must avoid mechanical stress, including excessive stretching, compression or deformation, and avoid contact with sharp or pointed objects. High pressure hoses are preferably stored on suitable racks, or on dry ground. Coiled high-pressure hoses must be stored horizontally, and high-pressure hoses should not be stacked. If stacking cannot be avoided, the stack height should not deform the underlying high pressure hose. As one of the rules, try to avoid high-pressure hoses around posts or hooks. If the high pressure hose is shipped straight, it is recommended to store it horizontally without bending it.
