This is the standard size backwash hose for pools. The 1.5" - 8.0'' refers to the inside diameter of the hose, meaning it can connect any pump output pipe up to 1.5" - 8.0'' standard.

This hose is designed to fit over a standard size filter outlet, hose can install to standard Camlock/ pin lug fittings, or directly install to PVC pipe with good clamps. It’s one of the easiest to connect hoses and you won’t waste a lot of time trying to put it in place.
