Risk factors of high pressure hose

The risk factors of high pressure hose are as follows
1. Poor manufacturing quality:
(1) The inner layer of the high-pressure hose wall is oil-resistant rubber, and the center is braided steel wire (steel wire braided hose) or surrounding steel wire (steel wire surrounding hose). Poor quality hoses will appear: uneven wall thickness of the hose; too tight wire braid (small wire stroke), too loose (large wire stroke) or too few steel wires; deformation of the hose after pressurization (elongation) , shortening or bending deformation) is relatively large (the national standard for steel wire travel is controlled at plus or minus 3); the poor air tightness of the outer rubber leads to corrosion of the steel wire (main display method: exposed steel wire); the poor sealing of the inner rubber leads to high-pressure oil Free access to the wire layer; insufficient adhesion between the rubber layer and the wire layer. The above conditions reduce the force acceptance of the hose, causing the thin part of the hose wall to burst. Especially the inner layer, if the airtightness is poor, once it is pressurized, it will leak water, and then burst directly when it is pressurized.
(2) Improper selection of pressure and pressure methods when assembling high-pressure hoses and joints. Or the unreasonable selection of the structure, material, and size of the joint may cause excessive or loose pressure on the hose and joint, resulting in early damage to the joint.
In addition, unreasonable joint design, cutting corners and poor processing quality will also cause damage to the inner rubber; if the joint material is improperly selected, it will not meet the use requirements of high-pressure hose components. The service life of the high pressure hose will be shortened.

2. Unreasonable operation and use: under the premise of guaranteed quality, if used improperly, the service life of the high-pressure hose will be greatly shortened. In practical tasks, most of the damage to high-pressure hoses is caused by improper use.
(1) Subject to frequent and severe pressure shocks. The bursting of high-pressure hoses is generally not caused by excessive static pressure, but is related to the severity and frequency of pressure shocks. During the operation of construction machinery, the oil pressure in the oil pipe will repeatedly rise or fall suddenly, which will form frequent pressure shocks on the oil pipe, resulting in aggravated damage to the oil seal of various parts, blistering and fracture of the high-pressure hose, and loosening of the pipe joint. Therefore, the valve stem will not be pulled too much during operation, and it must be steep.
(2) The operating temperature of the oil is too high. During the operation of construction machinery, the hydraulic system generates heat due to power loss, coupled with the influence of external temperature (especially in hot weather), the oil temperature can rise sharply. The higher the operating temperature of the oil, the easier it is for the rubber to age, the worse the elasticity, the lower the strength and sealing function, and the high-pressure hose will burst quickly. Therefore, in the process of operation, when the temperature rise of the hydraulic system is too high or too fast, the cause should be found out in time and eliminated; summer operation, especially when continuing to work, should adopt the required cooling method.
(3) The selection and installation of high-pressure hoses are unreasonable. When replacing the high-pressure hose, the length of the selected high-pressure hose, the number of layers of steel wire, the shape and size of the joint should be reasonable, and the bending level of the high-pressure hose should be reduced as much as possible; when tightening the joint nut, do not deform the high-pressure hose. Excessive bending and deformation will greatly reduce the service life of the high-pressure hose; for some parts that are prone to friction, protective measures should be taken to prevent the high-pressure hose from affecting the steel wire layer due to wear. Then, wear reduces the stress due to erosion of the wire, resulting in a burst.

The methods to prevent the hidden dangers of high-pressure hoses are:
1. Choose an enterprise with brand and quality assurance. Enterprises with quality assurance and sales service generally have better production and high quality requirements.
2. Pay attention to the operation of the high-pressure hose assembly. Don't produce blindly.
3. As an industrial product, the high-pressure hose should be investigated by the application unit for its technical indicators. Blind purchase is also one of the factors that cause hidden dangers in quality.
As a user, you should also pay attention to the storage of high-pressure hoses.
